6. Article from WSJ and reasonable author suggested most of us were voting against not for someone

I tend to agree with this for many people. Personally I deeply wanted Kamala to win (break that damn ceiling once and for all), but we Dems could have run a Martian and I would have voted for him/her/it as a vote against Dangerous Donnie. I know a couple people that have admitted to me in the last couple days that they voted for the Don and it was clear that it was really a vote for all that the Biden administration did not focus on (immigration and debt/inflation most prominently) that they felt was more important than student loan forgiveness and other things even though they find TNG morally reprehensible. I counted on the moral compass thing to carry a lot with many and it clearly didn't. Sad commentary on our country I think but votes are votes.
