But make no mistake - the oligarchs who are now firmly in control of the government will do everything in their considerable power to reshape it until it's own Mother wouldn't recognize it. Alarmism? Just look to Hungary. Notionally a democracy they still have all the trappings of one. There are elections, courts, laws and the press. But a democracy?
Hardly.
