8. What's really sad

Is that my husband, after over a decade away from the military, reenlisted at an advanced age to finish out the last few of his 20 years. When he got out, we were in 2 wars and he was sick of all of it. Now he wanted his retirement from the military and to then go back to government work and retire there.

This is so FUBAR.
