3. I don't think it has to do with anything in particular about Rachel Maddow

or MSNBC in general. It's that we don't want to watch the news at all any more. I haven't watched any cable news since the election and I don't know anyone who has, and it's not because of any quality issues but just because it's too damn depressing, like having the horror rubbed in. I know all I need to know and want to know for now, without watching tv.
