5. Ya know, to the extent generational distinctions have any validity,

it is because events and cultural shifts define them. A substantial number of people might be like others in their generation because they shared similar circumstances. There could be economic factors that affect first jobs as adults, change in widely accepted education theory that affects how kids are taught in school, a pandemic, major technological shifts, etc. I don't see the sense in declaring a shift just because it's been a set number of years without knowing what factors will happen when.
