11. Also, how much would crime go up if you post who has guns

I own two AR-15's. They are expensive rifles. I don't want that fact advertised on the internet, along with my address. That is just asking for my house to be robbed while I'm at work/vacation. They are locked in a very secure safe, with an alarm, so short of somebody bringing welding equipment, I'm safe, but I think your idea would cause gun thefts to skyrocket, making you less dangerous.

Also, why does it matter if your neighbor has one gun or 50. I happen to know my neighbor has a few guns, it doesn't bother me one bit. I also have no reason to believe they are stolen or illegal. I would be much more worried about a neighbor who had illegal guns, wondering what their intent was, but those would not show up on any report, so it wouldn't help.
