8. Can't even imagine the reaction that would happen now if a TV exec ever proposed a comedy about a Nazi prison camp.

They would likely be forced to resign and advertisers would refuse.

What I find interesting is that Hogan's Heroes was released only 20 years or so after the end of the war. People of the times lived through the war, yet were still able to see humor in the show, and didn't take it seriously. Nowadays that would never happen.
