10. it was military on military.

The series was geared more towards our parents' generation, when almost every eligible male served in the military. There were all sorts of military comedies in the 50's and early 60s. My dad's brother, cousin and BIL all served. His brother WW2, the rest served in the Korea era. Even Elvis was drafted.
