I'm quite familiar with WW2 "resistance" stories.

It's fair to ask... "Are they worth it?"

When the Nazis were executing 10 or 100 civilians for every German killed or train derailed...

Was it worth it?

Quite a dilemma.

For example. The Warsaw Uprising of 1944. You see... the Soviets were approaching Warsaw, pushing the Germans back...

Since the Germans were starting to pull soldiers AWAY from Warsaw, the Polish resistance decided to launch an attack against German forces in the city

The Soviets halted their advance, Germans reinforced, crushed the resistance and leveled Warsaw.

What if they didn't launch the attack? The Soviets would have liberated Warsaw weeks earlier.

And the killing of Reinhard Heydrich in Prague...

SOB deserved it for sure, but in retribution, the Nazis killed over 1300 innocent civilians, including hundreds of children.

On the other hand... lack of resistance is akin to surrender...

Difficult choice.
