especially what was reflected by the recent CBS poll that showed him at 53% approval, remember that that was one poll. Of course the corporate media ran with it as the gold standard and hailed it as proof that voters like what he is doing.
A day later, I saw Jason Crowe on MSNBC pointing out that that is historically low for a new President, despite all the crowing (no pun intended). He pointed out that trump isn't even experiencing a honeymoon, and that President Biden was at 57% approval at the same time during his term. Gee, I don't remember any press people hailing him as super popular.
Even more to the point, Lawrence quoted an even more recent Monmouth poll last night that showed trump at 47% approval and 52% disapproval. This was from yesterday, but for some reason, didn't seem to get that much attention.
He is not popular and anyone in the media who says so is gaslighting us.
