7. I'd say the only question is timing

Trump has already abrogated the Constitution, and he's getting checked repeatedly in the courts. The Media is slowly (albeit very slowly) beginning to wake up to the threat that he represents. The GOP is getting a lot of pushback from his constituents, and then of course co-president Musk is becoming a liability. He's likely realized that he's only bought himself perhaps another eighteen months before he's going to find himself impeached and removed by Congress (and the Supreme Court isn't as rubber-stamped as he'd thought).

What I see is someone who is trying to foment a crisis in which he can take unilateral control, and everything he's done to date indicates that he's following the Heritage Foundation playbook like an instruction manual. I have to wonder if they prepared a special Project 2025 coloring book just for him? The next steps will involve getting Congress completely out of the picture and nullifying the courts. So, yeah, some time between now and early Fall.
