In 08, we turned out to beat the concept of the previous administration. The vision of a tea bag fueled, Gingrich presidency would not only arouse the left and centrist Dems, it could discourage the 'moral' conservatives.

The idea that people wouldn't come out just to vote against Newt is plain nonsense. The only way that argument works is with someone like Mitt where some (I'm looking at you, Ralph) might argue there was no difference between the parties.
