In 2002, Keenes son David Michael Keene was driving on the George Washington Memorial Parkway when, in a road-rage incident, he fired a handgun at another motorist. He was sentenced to ten years in prison for using, brandishing, and discharging a firearm in a crime of violence. I asked Keene if this private tragedy had left him uncertain about what the N.R.A. had wrought. He said no: You break the law, you pay the price.
he broke the law and went to jail

Just a wild guess- he hates his parents. He was emotionally crippled. He can be helped.

Or maybe being raised in a mondo-Gun Culture household had something to do with it?

+1, 000 to all you said. That's wisdom and compassion. It exceeds the security of being armed.

Doesn't surprise me. Guns are dangerous, yet gun cultists don't want to talk about that.

Happened in 2002 - he got 10 years - he'd be out this year if there was no early release.

Sounds like a typical bagger, bircher, infowars nut. Don't have facilities for all of them.
