Earlier this year, a 5-year-old Pennsylvania girl was suspended from kindergarten after she told another girl she was going to shoot her with a Hello Kitty toy gun that blows soapy bubbles. School officials told the girl’s parents she made a 'terrorist threat.'


A child can't play with a bubble gun, but her brother can have a rifle? Bubble guns are not a Constitutional mandate.


As far as the chemicals, there are very dangerous household chemicals and the instructor should have reviewed the experiment before the chemicals were brought to school. If the teacher either failed to review the design of the experiment or had approved it, they should also face disciplinary action.
