Loved the small town living, the beaches, the natural beauty and the people.
The Republicans have turned this state into a cesspool. My SO is a public school teacher with 8 years left to retire. We're trying to hold out and hope there's a bit of pension there for him, then we are out of here. It's a crying shame what's been done here but I don't know if it'll ever come back. Too many crazies have taken over.

I haven't been there since 1958, but it always seemed too hot and sticky for me.
