I kind of wish the Marines would have taken the initiative to get the umbrellas before being asked to.
I'm not sure how the Marine detail works at the White House and what their responsibilities are. Maybe they just stand at attention and only respond to requested orders instead of going at-ease at their own accord to fetch an umbrella.
I imagine it may be the same thing as helping a guest into the Presidential helicopter if they loose their footing or something.
It just would be nice for just one week if something would go right. Actually, not go "Right," I mean work out without any controversy. This stuff just gives more fodder for the other side.
