The abortion bills will be put on the agenda by the governor early enough that a filibuster won't hold. Even if thousands of people show up at the Capitol, the Republican leadership in both chambers have the necessary power to stifle debate and call votes.

In addition, other variations of SB 5 may be considered.

HB 16 was a stand-alone bill that simply banned abortion at or after 20 weeks post-fertilization.
HB 60 was the companion bill to SB 5 relating to abortion procedures, providers, and facilities; providing penalties.

I haven't heard of any other strategies at this point, but I'm not a lawyer.
