(111,138 posts)33. Heading for the low triple digits here in the high desert,
it was 99 here an hour ago. Swamper will be struggling to keep it below 88 or so. I will be guzzling iced tea, watching videos and cranking on the computer. I will not put forth any real effort for anything. I hope roofers and the like have already gone home.
We're supposed to get the monsoons back in a couple of days. I hope it happens.

My guess is that the tarmac becomes excessively pliable at such high temperatures.
