I know that sounds stupid, but calling bacon a fad seemed even more asinine, so I deleted it. :/

I'm sure you've seen the t-shirts praising the transcendent perfection of bacon, or seen some of the mountains of internet humor on the subject.

It's dumb, and also, get off my lawn.
