I grew increasingly annoyed then disgusted with with my co-workers in Missouri starting in 2001. These were all college educated securely middle class folks with the BEST job in 100 miles. They, as I, had the luxury of TIME, to understand quickly changing world events.
And they displayed great skill in putting and keeping their heads firmly in the sand. I chucked it all in 2010 and set out on a bicycle to find folks who Think like I do. I now life in Eugene, Oregon and feel at home for the first time in my life. And I'm 54.
I am stunned I must say that even here too many folks are silent about the NSA spying. As William Binney said, this is a turnkey totalitarian state. I have no doubt those who think it is OK will change their minds -- but it will of course be too late then.
Come to a BLUE state friend !
