(31,302 posts)105. Not stuck--we chose to move to NC (Chapel Hill) in 2000 from Nebraska
where we'd spent 6 years; 6 years in Missouri prior to that; 23 years in southern Calif
before that.
I LOVED Chapel Hill when we moved here and still do. It really is an oasis of blue
in a sea of red. There are lots of like minded people here. The problem, of course,
is how the state has been completely taken over by right wing Repubs.
Hubby and our oldest son participated in the Moral Mondays protest today.
It is very depressing to see the damage these a$$holes are doing to
the state--and will continue to do--unless enough people wake up
here to stop them in 2014.
