170. Explain exactly, in simple words and phrases

What I could have done to "force" the president to "do it". Please. Clearly I am too inept to figure it out, because I thought Voting, protesting, letter writing, donating, protesting some more, raising awareness in others, etc was, as a private citizen all the power I have in our current system to try and nudge a president in one direction or another. And those efforts on the parts of millions, have been fully and completely ignored. Not even denied, ignored.

So, break it down. Exactly how does one "force" a president to do something, other than being very wealthy and able to buy his attention.
