5. I know. I was a CPT in the Army, got out. My husband is currently a Colonel on active duty.

My father was an Army Colonel too, but he was an asshole. But that's a whole 'nother topic.

Anyway, I know most people serving would resist this.

But I have seen signs that the top leadership, at least in the AF, is openly Dominionist. A Major General my husband worked for during a joint assignment sent around an article to his officers that was frankly neo-nazi and written by a well-known white supremicist. Talked about eliminating the vote for women, eliminating education for women, outlawing birth control in order to make sure enough white babies are being born.

The MGen felt confident enough to distribute this stuff openly. I also have heard murmurs at various social functions that led me to believe some would be pretty happy if a coup happened - which admittedly is not the same as planning one.

Yeah, it's a big conspiracy theory, and maybe way out there, like tinfoil hat wearing out there, but a coup was attempted during the 1930's which thankfully failed and I have an awful feeling another attempt is planned.
