(284 posts)41. We had a real good night tonight:
My wife and I live in the Bancroft neighborhood of South Minneapolis, MN. It's somewhat close to some scary areas (38th and Chicago). But the neighborhood has only gotten better over the years. It's a place now where younger families can afford a house in the city making the area so much better. It's funny, I commented to the wife tonight that it is so cool that the Bancroft neighborhood is so diverse. So many cute kids with totally different ethnic backgrounds - the kids, the parents - everyone being so friendly and nice - it's really great. We went through $35 worth of candy - for us that's pretty good. And less leftovers the better!
