I will say I recall having conversations with men during this trial and they said that sort of thing. I insisted that undermined the severity of the abuse, that studies show that boys suffer as much trauma as girls in these situations. There is nothing lucky about it. It's part of the weird socialization where men are taught to think any sex is good. Rape isn't good, and if a woman is an adult, it's rape. Full stop.

Compare that to discussions in HOF. I haven't seen anyone there take rape of men any less seriously than of women. I did see one poster take that opinion in GD recently, and that person was strongly rebuked.
