I agree it is blatant racism, but many, sadly, see this as "he is speaking the truth, how is that racist?" I have seen it applied to many other groups; one takes a stereotype and applies in it such a way it seems to be nothing but an "observation." It is infuriating how racist crap like this is easily passed off as "legitimate rhetoric."
