(20,132 posts)10. I had a guidance counselor in high school
who was a big Bush fan. Nice enough guy if you didn't talk politics with him. This was during the run-up to the invasion of Iraq and the few years after. He had a couch in his office and we'd hang out in there and occasionally go at it on politics.
After the 2004 selection, he pinned TIME's cover with Shrub's mug on it to the board in his office. We were sitting in there and he left to go do something for a few minutes, so I "defaced" it with a bunch of thumbtacks. When he came back he was pissed. "Who did this? Who did this?!" Don't know how he didn't figure it was me.
A few years ago I went back and visited my school and stopped by his office. I saw Palin's book on his shelf so I took it out and gave him a lot of crap for that.
