(28,787 posts)and you make a good point i think. maybe in that little part of FL, the police aren't so busy with real crime that they considered him a nuisance.
or maybe it's just what it smells like. racism rearing its ugly head, racism so entrenched that they actually didn't consider Trayvon a person - so it couldn't be murder, right? it's only murder if you kill a human being.
i don't know. they let him go. he killed a person and they fucking cut him loose - that stinks to high heaven whatever the rationale they try to manufacture. i'm very glad that the people have gotten so worked up over it, because we need more justice in this country not less. if nothing else this sordid episode is raising the consciousness of many people and that's a good thing.
