There has to be because too many of these people fancy themselves to be part of an army with some of them having actual military experience. That sort of identity demand structure and hierarchy. It also requires financing."


reminds me of the Ergenekon organization in Turkey. A shadowy clandestine group operating within the "deep state", as the Turks like to call it, that commits acts of terrorism under the "strategy of tension".

It's believed Ergenekon started off as part of NATO's Gladio Program, but essentially took on a life of its own. A good many people are currently on trial in Turkey who have been accused of being members of this group.
