I'm still thinking about it myself. I think we can and do display a lot of things about ourselves and this could be one of those ways. But many maybe even most people don't want to look at things that are not within their little world, it disturbs their view of everything. Maybe it would be good to rock their boat but don't many of us do that already? and they just ignore?

That's why I think it takes both the display and willingness to read what it means. Empathy is not that easy for many and in a world of such fear, empathy becomes harder to apply all the time, it get hidden when people try to protect themselves too much. Maybe if people lose the fear they will see better.
