(23,649 posts)11. MY Mom, not a Rosie Riverter, but was a SPAR, US Coast Guard Women's Reserve.
She was in from 1942 until the end of the war. I salute all the women who served during WWII in industrial positions and in the military.

Proud ot be an American woman. I doubt the women supporting the Axis are entitled to as much pride.
