Disarm the damn police. No guns, no bulletproof vests, no batons. Mace, handcuffs, radios only. Supervisors get tazers. A handful of shotguns are kept at the station, and can only be utilized with express, authroization by the chief of police, which must be followed by an incident report submitted to the DoJ if they are used. The DoJ will then open an investigation to see if charges are warranted against the police or not.
