(6,907 posts)On the open interstate, not in a metro area with jammed traffic, is the people who won't keep a constant speed. I call them yo-yo drivers. They will be gong along at 80 and so that's fine, get in front of me, then they are doing 75 and I have to tap the break and turn off cruise, then it is 70 so I go around then it is 80 on my tailgate, repeat. Heres the thing people, If you don't have cruise control, you have to mash the gas pedal a little harder going uphill and a little lighter going downhill.
Eta and another thing. If it is solid traffic on the right and the speed limit is 70 and I am in the left doing 80 constantly passing people, I don't have to pull in right and go 70 because you want to go 90. Stop tailgating me and when a big enough spot opens on the right I'll shift over and you can pass. And when I do don't slow down, pass.
