In reply to the discussion: What will you miss the most about a Romney campaign? (poll) [View all]FSogol

Mitt Romeny's America Safari
By Jonathan Capehart
"As we learned and saw during his quest to secure the Republican nomination, Mitt Romney has a habit of doing two things he apparently hopes will ingratiate himself to voters. One is flat-out pandering. The other is waxing amazed at what he just saw or who he has just met as if he were a traveler in a strange and distant land for the first time. This latter trait is so disconcerting that when the former Massachusetts governor was making his way through the South in March, I made this pithy observation.
With regard to Mitt Romney, poor guy, the only second time hes had catfish ever and cheesy grits and a biscuit, its almost as if were watching Mitt Romney on safari in his own country."

I'm looking forward to how he'll now be able to damage other candidates' campaigns.

I really wanted to see his Robin Hood impression for either the top or bottom 47 percent.

Why on earth would a man who has been used to being the "big boss" take a VP slot?

Good point, but I had intuited a deal was cut for VP slot as soon as the news revealed.

I miss nothing about Mitt. Then again, I was "blessed" with him as Governor for 4 years.
