right? Lol, I don't get why they have to aggravate the poor fella. I heard they use a certain one and take care of it the rest of the year, but still, seems like they could just see if something else cast a shadow. Or, does the groundhog, himself, have to look at his own shadow?

Also, where in the world did they come up with that kind of idea? Why not a pug dog or something? So many traditions are really idiotic, when you stop and really think about it. Far too many traditions involve slaughtering animals or aggravating animals in some way. Have you noticed that too?
