37. I'm cautiously optimistic

But none of us should be complacent about what we're up against. The corporations, Koch Bros and big backers, and the party itself will be trying to torpedo him at every turn. Bvar22 has a great post about what went on with Blanche Lincoln in Arkansas as an example. Watch for party shenanigans. I wouldn't put it past big donors from the conservative side crossing over to vote for Clinton because they know the race will be against two entrenched pols in the general then. They can't have Bernie running against Jebba the Bush and making him look bad.

But most importantly, what he is talking about means BILLIONS of dollars of lost profit to banks and corporations. They will fight him tooth and nail with everything they've got. If he starts to be anything more than "pulling Hillary to the left" watch the major PAC attack ads come out. Scary Socialist! and raising taxes 2000%. He is trying to shake up the status quo, and they had it all wrapped up with corporate-friendly candidates on both sides.

I love this! NYC_SKP May 2015 #1
