forms and mediums by the straight religious and political communities for as long as I can remember. Westboro Baptist would be the most famous and vile example but face it, straight religious people put up billboards, church marquees and magazine ads against LGBT people, they do pickets and placards and lots and lots of comics. They do conferences and rallies against us, they use the worst verbiage imaginable and are often rewarded for that with honors such as performing the Inaugural prayer for a Democratic President.
So it is odd that almost all discussions of hate speech written by straight people leave all of that out.
