and if his campaign co-chair hadn't been in charge of counting the votes, and if they had had a uniform statewide ballot, and if all those Gore votes in Volusia County hadn't been zapped because of a "malfunction" of proprietary voting software...

Maybe someone can toss up a poll and get it over with!!! MADem Jun 2015 #1
I think we've seen more polls in the past few weeks than I have fingers. countryjake Jun 2015 #4

I will not vote for Hillary either. Will have Waffles that day instead. Katashi_itto Jun 2015 #80
Don't worry you won't have to vote for Hillary because Bernie is going to be the nominee. sabrina 1 Jun 2015 #83
Thank god! Much as I like Waffles, the carbs are bad for me. Katashi_itto Jun 2015 #97

Some of these types act like it's 2000 with Nader.... Spitfire of ATJ Jun 2015 #11
And of course it was the media saying Gore lied about Love Story progree Jun 2015 #14
The only vote that counted was the one that was 5 to 4. Spitfire of ATJ Jun 2015 #20
The SCOTUS would not have gotten involved if Gore had 12,000 votes more than Bush progree Jun 2015 #33
Well, they hadn't even finished counting the votes in Florida Art_from_Ark Jun 2015 #79
Well, if Gore had been on top by 12,000 or more votes on the morning after election day progree Jun 2015 #93
And if Bush's brother hadn't been the governor, Art_from_Ark Jun 2015 #96
Yup, I have a long list of that stuff in #14. And I agree that all of them, even Love Story, progree Jun 2015 #99
Many more Florida Dems voted for Bush dreamnightwind Jun 2015 #21

In the end, it's Gore's responsibilty to earn votes. Maedhros Jun 2015 #54
Yes, yes, yes, I covered that one in #14. (sigh) progree Jun 2015 #55
Hey - politics is a rough business. Maedhros Jun 2015 #58

Gore losing votes to Nader is GORE's RESPONSIBILITY, not Nader's fault. [n/t] Maedhros Jun 2015 #53
We dealt with that in #54-#55. But thanks again and again for the repetition. nm progree Jun 2015 #61
No, you waved your hands and decreed "It's Nader's fault!!" jeff47 Jun 2015 #68
#32 is hardly waving my hands. And #14 dealt with myriad other factors. progree Jun 2015 #78
No, 32 is still blaming it on Nader, and 14 still restricts all your analysis to FL. jeff47 Jun 2015 #88
"Problem is your story isn't true." LOL, You know it is progree Jun 2015 #92
You'll never change the voters. bvar22 Jun 2015 #100
"Blaming Nader may make you feel good in a childish kind of way" progree Jun 2015 #101
The Gore Campaign did INDEED calculate that they wouldn't need the Nader voters. bvar22 Jun 2015 #102
And von Hindenburg and the Great Depression created Hitler progree Jun 2015 #103

Same question to you that I posted in #46. Exilednight Jun 2015 #48
A Lyndon Larouche-type candidate would never get the niomination. Adrahil Jun 2015 #84
