An Occupy protester has been elected Mayor of a European city of 1.6 million people. Her acceptance speech had lawmakers jaws dropping on the floor. She invoked Iceland and Greece (and it looks like the EU is doomed at long last) and talked about grand programs to turn the tide of power against the banksters. She plans to take empty homes and house the homeless, for example.
