an amazing human being. It was funny: in his later years, he liked to work as a grounds-keeper at Syracuse University. I know this is speculation on my part, but I don't think that many people there knew who that old fellow working with the plants on the campus's lawn really was. But, those who did, counted themselves lucky.
There's a great book that I know you would appreciate, "To Become a Human Being: The Message of Tadodaho Chief Leon Shenandoah."
