Misty Copeland is one of her heroes. Not only is Ms. Copeland the first black Principal at ABT, she has also made huge strides in removing the stereotype in ballet that female dancers must be wispy, willowy little people, often who suffer eating disorders. She is so amazingly wonderful. My daughter has a strong lower body that is not little and wispy... we are so thankful for pioneers like Misty Copeland.
