They can't be recharged quickly, currently. That is where the research is going although that's a lot of current to dump in in five minutes.

Oil was indeed too good of an energy package...and way too profitable.....until maybe now it isn't?

Batteries can't be charged as fast as gasoline tank (back to my gasoline was too good)

You can exchange packs faster than charging... a 250 mile range is around 4 days of driving...

Well, you have to drive to a gas station but with electric your cheap as dirt gas station is at home.
