The Royals led the AL all year. Were it not for an incredible NL Central showing, theyb were far and away the best team in baseball all year. They are in the World Series for the second straight year. The Mets, even during the their run, were considered a mediocre team that just happened to be located in the worst division in baseball.

Any book that favored the Mets was ridiculous, as I expect you'd agree.
