(11,804 posts)are deciding to belong a religion the same way they choose to belong to a political party. Because anti-theism precludes the possibility that there is something out there, people who choose to believe in Islam (or in Christianity) are choosing it willfully. It is somewhat similar to the assertion of some branches of Christianity that if anybody really prays to find out the truth they will, and therefore anybody who isn't part of their brand of Christianity is willfully choosing to serve Satan.
In this formulation, anybody who chooses to belong to Islam or Christianity is willfully choosing bigotry, hatred, and terrorism.
Not sure why this is in General Discussion though. Aren't there two forums at least where posting attacks on religion is encouraged?
