I don't believe our membership money is comparable to the ad revenue, though. The power is in the sheer numbers of us, as supporters of the Sanders lawsuit were able to prove to the DNC.
The Clinton coronators (right here in this thread!) have been proclaiming there will be a huge purge in DU membership right after her *inevitable* nomination. But I wonder if 11% of the current postings would still attract the same amount of ad revenue.
The power does not rest in the postings of our more prolific former posters.
The power is in our sheer numbers.
