I notice you did not bother to answer any of the questions posed there.

Sure people are paying for it, but for a lot of people - it looks free. If I was working a full time job, I would get health care from my present employer - for nothing.

My co-worker though, is crying about his expenses - even though a) he is getting insurance for a family of four, and b) our employer is paying much more each month for him than they are for me, and c) especially since they are now paying NOTHING for me.

So we work the same job, except I have been there ten years longer, and he is basically getting paid $1,135.80 a month more than me for doing the same job.

Yet he is crying about his expenses.

Of course, if we had single payer paid for by the current income tax system, he would suddenly get an even bigger subsidy - from the rest of us, because he currently pays negative federal income tax.
