6. I'm always shocked

By how many pharmaceutical ads there are on US TV... I now live in Europe and when I stream any US TV it's appalling. There's nothing like that anywhere else in the world I've ever been. And there's no looping ads for drugs in doctors offices either. Which I've heard exists in the US now.

Big pharma has run amuck there apparently ...

When my mom visits she brings about 20 different pills with her. And she's not really sick or anything. Overweight but... I know overweight Irish people that take maybe 2-3 pills. Not 20...

It's pretty messed up.
