I'd like to see someone from west of the Mississippi, but I'll settle for someone from west of the Hudson. And someone not from Harvard. Time for some diversity on the bench!

Given the problems Lynch had with her Attorney General nomination - all the GOP's fault - I don't see her being a shoo-in. And she's doing a decent job in her current position.

I'd like to see Goodwin Liu get the nod, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
