(15,445 posts)76. Alert? Why bother? With the 3/4 majority of Berners on this board,
and the jury system completely skewed, alerting is an exercise in futility. The fix is in.
Sure, I thought of alerting, but just threw up my virtual hands in resignation.
That you can't admit the outrageous nature of that faux DUzy thread, hidden behind the Sandbox firewall, speaks volumes of your character.
ETA: You will note that the shameless author has ex post facto deleted his/her own thread, but only after Nance dared to speak up.

But, I guess that "broadsiding" other DUers by name in a snarky, fake "DUzy" thread IS okay,

But, a flagrant "META" OP, snarkily masquerading as fake DUzys, is just fine.

I don't think that post should have been hidden. I would not have voted so.

Call outs are not against TOS. I've seen many alerts stating they are, but there is NOTHING in TOS

It was a heartless cruel hide. The alerter and jury should be ashamed of themselves.

Shameful hijack of a DU classic for petty partisan purposes. Couldn't even reply to that

One reason I never vote to hide a post except rank vulgarity, threats, slamming family, etc.
