I don't know why that would be. Surely, they've got records of every single vehicle that has ever had that type installed in it.
Maybe they have to space out the recalls in order to accommodate the number of them, and the subsequent repairs.
And honestly, I was never concerned about it. I only got it done because I thought it might have come up in the inspection (it didn't.) I don't know if I do drive better than most other drivers or not, but at least I do try to stay far more aware than what I observe in too many of them. That alone is enough to me
Also, depending on how busy your dealership service department is, I was quoted at first forty minutes. I ended up being there almost three hours. So, figure somewhere in that time-frame.
